The rich history of Brampton Brewery can be traced back to the early 1820’s, and it traded successfully in & around Chesterfield over the next 130 years before finally succumbing to take over in 1955.

In it’s prime Brampton boasted a tied estate of almost 150 pubs, and weekly production of around 225,000 pints of ale.

In 2007 a group of local enthusiasts set about resurrecting the name to bring back the fine art of brewing back in to Brampton for the first time in over 50 years.
